Inspire. Lead. Build Community.
Rooted in a Mennonite tradition of community, hospitality, and peace, Menno Hall aims to provide a spiritually nourishing and academically supportive home for over 100 student residents.
The new Menno Hall is built on the legacy of the Menno Simons Centre, which provided student housing in a Christian faith based community just outside of UBC for over 30 years. The Pacific Centre for Discipleship Association (PCDA), which has stewarded this vision since the 1980s, has spent the last four years bringing Menno Hall to life through planning, community engagement, and development.

Menno Hall is hiring its first Director — a founding leadership role in a new student residence and hospitality space at the University of British Columbia.
Opening in September 2026, Menno Hall will offer a spiritually nourishing and academically supportive home for over 100 students, rooted in Mennonite values of peace, community, and hospitality. Built on the legacy of the Menno Simons Centre, this new chapter is guided by the Pacific Centre for Discipleship Association (PCDA), which has stewarded this vision for decades.
Starting September 1, 2025, the Director will lead the start-up and daily operations of Menno Hall, supervise future staff, and shape the systems and culture of an inclusive, faith-informed community. This is a rare opportunity to build something lasting and meaningful — from the ground up.
